Following a strategic review, new Ofcom regulations will have a significant impact on organisations currently using the 0870 number range.

The most significant change to many organisations is that out payments will stop for calls received on 0870 numbers.   Ofcom have hinted that they may wish to withdraw 0870 numbers in the future.   Networks have indicated that in 2008 they may start charging for calls received on 0870 numbers (as they do for 0800 numbers).   Why not consider recording your calls or introducing Intelligent routing as part of your required number planning.   Call us on 0800 902 0 902 to check your options.
